Whilst playing with nebula effects, put this together:


The “streaks” were made out of a combination of Fractal-style Photoshop brushes here. I made up the following images and then mixed them up in 3D studio max:

First attempt at a 3d Black Hole

Black Hole
Not to happy with this at the moment, but thought I’d post it anyway.

This is mainly done using a swirl texture imprinted on an object, but somehow it still looks a bit ‘flat’ to me. But maybe it’ll come to some use, somehow.
